To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what measures his Department is taking to assist United Kingdom defence exports.

Through the Defence Export Services Organisation (DESO) the Ministry of Defence helps British firms to market and sell their defence products and services overseas. It does this mainly by advising firms on defence market prospects on a worldwide, regional or country basis. Our defence representatives overseas also provide companies with a wide range of follow-up support and assistance.
