To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will make a statement on the abolition of the housing cost floor restrictions in relation to the right to buy.

The White Paper "Housing: The Government's Proposals" proposed that the cost floor rule under the right to buy should be abolished. The responses are still under consideration.
