HC Deb 21 January 1988 vol 125 c794W
Dr. Hampson

To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Science how much Leeds education authority spent on books and equipment per pupil for each year since 1982; what is the estimate for 1987–88; and what is the comparable average expenditure for metropolitan districts over the same period, as a whole.

Mrs. Rumbold

The figures for 1987–88 are taken from "Education Statistics, 1987–88 Estimates" published by the Chartered Institute of Pulbic Finance and Accountancy; a copy of which is in the Library.
