I refer my hon. Friend to the income and expenditure account which is published in the annual report and accounts for the National Dock Labour Board and in the notes to the accounts which follow. The latest published figures, for the year ended 27 December, 1986, show that the board's management levy was maintained at 2¾ per cent. of the total leviable wage bill, and amounted to £4.3 million. Administrative costs for individual local boards are not made public.
