§ 13. Mr. Battle
To ask the Secretary of State for Social Services if he proposes to review the scheme for severe weather payments when sufficient experience of its operation during the current winter is available; and if he will make a statement.

§ 15. Mrs. Beckett
To ask the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will make it his policy to review the operation of the scheme for severe weather payments in the light of the current winter's experience; and if he will make a statement.

§ 50. Mr. Cohen
To ask the Secretary of State for Social Services if he intends to review the operation of the scheme for severe weather payments in the light of experience of its operation during the winter; and if he will make a statement.

§ 88. Mr. Kennedy
To ask the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will make a statement on the operation so far during the current winter of the system of cold weather payments.

§ Mr. Portillo
The Social Security Bill contains a provision for help to continue to be given towards the cost of heating in cold weather from next winter. The precise details of the new arrangemens will be decided in the light of experience this winter.
