To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will publish in theOfficial Report the overall cost of maintaining Her Majesty's embassy and consular services in (a) Italy, (b) Japan, (c) Saudi Arabia, (d) Singapore, (e) Burkina Faso, (f) Canada and (g) New Zealand.

In the financial year 1986–87, the cost excluding FCO support services in the United Kingdom, of Her Majesty's embassies and consular offices in the named countries was as follows:

The United Kingdom has no direct representation in Burkina Faso, relations with that country being maintained through Her Majesty's embassy in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
