To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Science what was the total cost of production of the video "Your Choice for Life".

The total production cost of the AIDS video for schools "Your Choice for Life" was £103,902.

To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Science how many copies of the video "Your Choice for Life" have so far been distributed to(a) schools, (b) youth groups and (c) other centres.

Copies of the package, which contains the video and the users' guide, were distributed initially as follows:(a) schools, 5,897 (b) the youth service, 168; and (c) other centres, 702. Copies for the youth service were sent to national organisations and to principal youth officers, not to individual clubs. The figures relate to copies distributed free of charge in England only; further copies of the package are available for purchase.
