To ask the Secretary of State for Employment when he last met the chairman of the British Tourist Authority to discuss the promotion of tourism in the north-west of England.

I have met the chairman of the British Tourist Authority a number of times in the past few months to discuss matters relating to the promotion of tourism in all parts of the country.
