HC Deb 26 February 1988 vol 128 c359W
Mr. Fearn

To ask the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will take steps to ensure the compiling of statistics to indicate the scale of repetitive strain injury problems in Britain.

Mrs. Currie

I regret we cannot do so as such problems are mostly treated by general practitioners. The cost of compiling comprehensive statistics on the wide range of conditions treated by general practitioners would greatly exceed the benefits obtained from the information.
