To ask the Lord President of the Council if he will list, on the information available to him, the public travel concessions available to members of the domestic parliaments of member states of the Council of Europe.

The current annual cost of administering the rail warrant scheme is not identifiable. However, the total charge to the Parliamentary and Privy Council: House of Commons Vote (Class 20 Vote 8) for the year 1986–87, in respect of rail travel by right hon. and hon. Members, their spouses, children and staff, amounted to £819,933.87.
