HL Deb 26 February 1988 vol 493 cc1487-8WA
Lord Rippon of Hexham

asked Her Majesty's Government:

What tax concessions will be available to United Kingdom Private contributors to the Europe Foundation once it comes into existence.

Lord Trefgarne

As my noble friend Lord Glenarthur said on 10th February, the Dutch Government have found it impossible to ratify the agreement. Without ratification by all the signatories the foundation cannot come into existence. The question of tax concessions on contributions does not therefore now arise.
