§ Mr. NeedhamMonitoring of atmospheric lead levels, other than emissions from the scheduled processes under the Alkali and Works Regulation Act 1906, is the responsibility of the district councils in Northern Ireland. No monitoring of lead levels has been carried out on sites occupied by travelling people in the Province. I shall be arranging for a circular to be issued to the councils drawing attention to the possible need to initiate monitoring on such sites.
