To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether he will meet representatives of the Church of England to discuss implications for the standard of living of rural people of Her Majesty's Government's agricultural policy.

To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what representations he has received from clergymen in rural areas about the effects of Her Majesty's Government's agricultural policy on the rural areas.

I receive representations from a wide range of organisations, on the impact of agricultural policy on the rural areas. On 17 February, for example, I had a useful meeting with a delegation from Rural Voice led by its chairman, Rev. Jeremy Martineau.
