§ Mrs. CurrieI regret that the figure of 3,171 authorised pay beds given in my reply to the hon. Member on 12 February 1988, at columns409–10, was incorrect. The number of authorised pay beds in England at 31 December 1979 was 2,405. The percentage bed occupancy figure thus increases to 62.7 per cent.
