Dr. ThomasTo ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what progress has been made in each of the six tasks and three projects being developed in nuclear waste management under the European Council decision of 12 March 1985, programme number 85 199 Euratom.
§ Mrs. RoeWork on the six tasks has been proceeding and will continue until the end of the current research programme in 1989. Projects 1 and 2 are also proceeding, but no progress has been made in project 3. As a result the programme for tasks 1–6 is being extended slightly in 1988 and 1989.
