§ Mr. NeedhamEstimates of population at board level are not held for 1987–88 or 1988–89; the following figures are based on the estimate for mid-1986 which gave the population of Northern Ireland as 1,566,800. There is no generally accepted definition of the family, so per capita expenditure figures only are given. The total per capita expenditure on health and personal social services is expected to be:
