§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeI am very committed to ensuring that my Department's divisions are located as cost effectively as possible, bearing in mind the services they provide, the need to recruit and retain staff, and the potential benefit to a receiving region's economy. I hope to announce shortly a decision on the relocation of the Patent Office. I will continue to consider the best location for other parts of my Department.
