To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster by how much turnover in the aerospace industry has increased in the last 10 years; and by how much exports in the industry have increased over the same period.

Aerospace industry sales increased from £2.2 billion in 1977 to £7.6 billion in 1986. In the same period, exports increased from £900 million to £4.3 billion.
