§ Mr. MacGregorFor the current cereals marketing year, Community consumption of home-produced-grain is provisionally estimated at 133 million tonnes and production at 153 million tonnes. Intervention stocks at the beginning of the year stood at 14.3 million tonnes.
For the same period United Kingdom consumption of home-produced grain is estimated at 16.7 million tonnes and production at 21.5 million tonnes. Intervention stocks at the beginning of the marketing year stood at 2.3 million tonnes.
