§ 83. Mr. McKelveyTo ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what representations he proposes to make to the Israeli Government about the breach of international law involved in the deportation of Palestinians from the occupied territories to the Lebanon.
§ Mr. MellorWe have already made representations to the Israelis bilaterally and together with our partners in the Twelve. We voted for United Nations Security Council resolutions 607 and 608 which called on Israel to refrain from deporting Palestinian civilians and to ensure the safe return of those already deported.
