To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if, to show his support for the work of the third United Nations special session on disarmament due to be held in June, he will cancel the British Army equipment exhibition planned for Aldershot from 27 June to 1 July.

No. The British Army equipment exhibition has no relevance to the United Nations special session on disarmament. The United Kingdom remains firmly committed to seeking arms control agreements which are both balanced and verifiable.
