To ask the Secretary of State for Employment what responses he has had to the booklet "Tendering for Government Contracts".

The response to this booklet has been most encouraging. Since the second edition became available in September 1987, almost 4,000 copies per month have been sent out to small firms centres and similar outlets for distribution to the public. Key extracts from the booklet are also held on the Prestel database.
