Mr. Hume

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what representations he has received concerning the funding of further and higher education in Northern Ireland; and if he will make a statement.

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will provide a statistical breakdown of the characteristics of students in further and higher education in Northern Ireland analysed by(a) age, (b) sex, (c) country of origin and (d) category of award for the past five years.
