HL Deb 21 December 1988 vol 502 c1450WA
Lord Chelwood

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they have been informed of the conclusions of the Soviet-Polish commission on the massacres at Katyn, and if so what is their reaction to them.

The Minister of State, Foreign and Commonwealth Office (Lord Glenarthur)

We understand that the Commission last met in Moscow at the end of November. It agreed that the case of Katyn still needed to be studied closely. It has not reached any conclusions.
