To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer when the report of the European Economic Community auditors published on 13 December will be considered by the Council of Economic Ministers; and if he will make a statement.

The agenda for next year's meetings of the Economic and Finance Council have not yet been decided, but on precedent I would expect the court's report to be considered by the Council in the early part of next year.
