It is planned to make similar changes in Northern Ireland to those announced in the House on 31 October, but as redundancy and insolvency payments in 517W Northern Ireland are made under different legislation from that governing Great Britain payments, it will be necessary to introduce separate legislation to effect the changes in Northern Ireland.
