To ask the Secretary of State for Energy what effect the generation of electricity by nuclear power is likely to have on the price paid by consumers over the next five years.

Nuclear generation will help to protect electricity consumers from fossil fuel price increases. The cost of nuclear power is already contained in electricity prices.
