To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster what has been the change in the United Kingdom share of the British car market so far in 1988.

In the first 11 months of 1988 the United Kingdom share of the British car market was 43 per cent., compared with 48 per cent. in the same period of 1987.
