§ Mr. CopeAll education authorities in Great Britain are now participating in the technical and vocation initiative and 48 of them have begun to extend the 143W initiative to all their secondary schools and colleges. Students in some 1,400 schools and colleges are benefiting from the enriched curriculum provided by TVEI, and the education of virtually all 14 to 18-year-olds in Great Britain will become more relevant to working life as the extension programme develops within the overall framework of the Government's education policies.
