§ Mrs. Roe[holding answer 26 April 1988]: The term "Hostels" as used in connection with expenditure under class IX, vote 1, A2.1(b) is defined in section 106(i) of the Housing Associations Act 1985. Grant is paid under section 55 of that Act to hostels managed by housing associations registered with the Housing Corporation.
