§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeTechnology demonstration is a component of many ESA programmes. The agency also has an optional in-orbit technology demonstration activity, already under way. I have not had occasion to discuss this with my ESA opposite numbers, although my officials at the British National Space Centre keep closely in touch with officials at ESA.
