§ Mr. Nicholas BennettTo ask the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will make a statement regarding the level of social security payments to itinerants from the Republic of Ireland and the comparable level of payments to citizens of other European Community countries.
§ Mr. PortilloEuropean Community nationals who go to another European Community country to seek work are eligible for social assistance benefits equally with and under the same conditions as that country's own nationals but only so long as their right to remain in the country continues.
