§ Mr. RentonMy right hon. Friend has meetings with the chairman of the board of governors of the British Broadcasting Corporation from time to time at which various issues are discussed. No meeting is planned specifically to discuss restrictive practices in broadcasting.
My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Employment announced on 28 March that questions as to possible restrictive practices in television broadcasting and film production were being referred to the Monopolies and Mergers Commission.
