§ Mr. Kenneth Clarke[holding answer 18 April 19881: The working breakfast in Newcastle on 13 April was the first of six such presentations to be held during the next three months and was not costed separately. The overall estimated cost of these presentations was given in my reply to the hon. Member on 14 March 1988.
Over 200 business people and representatives of major public corporations attended the working breakfast. About 50 civil servants from headquarters and regional offices were present in a working capacity in the reception area, in the associated exhibition and as management arid information support.
