§ Mrs. RoeTenants of charitable housing associations do not have the right to buy, but may qualify for a transferable discount under the home ownership scheme for tenants of charitable housing associations. £19 million has been allocated for the scheme in the Housing Corporation's cash-limited approved development programme for the current financial year. Applications received from 1 June 1987 are being held on a waiting list; the Department will review the position with the Housing Corporation later this year in the light of expenditure on applications in the pipeline.
