§ Mrs. RoeThe Government support the policies of local authorities and other bodies in promoting and providing for the tourist industry while preventing unacceptable effects upon the environment. So far as Norfolk and Suffolk are concerned, the structure plans for those counties, both recently approved by the Secretary of State, contain appropriate policies for controlling tourism development.
