HL Deb 27 October 1987 vol 489 c527WA
The Earl of Onslow

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they will report on the outcome of the seventh session of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development held in Geneva from 9th July to 3rd August 1987.

The Secretary of State for Trade and Industry (Lord Young of Graffham)

This session of the conference adopted a Final Act which set out the consensus reached on the main substantive item under consideration—the revitalisation of development, growth and international trade.

I have arranged for copies of this document, the speech which my honourable friend the Minister of State for Trade made at the conference and the text of a closing statement by the United Kingdom following the adoption of the Final Act to be placed in the Library of the House.
