§ Sir Trevor Skeetasked the Prime Minister what response she has made to the representations from ACOST to the effect that further funds should be committed to space research and development or the United Kingdom should withdraw from the European venture.
§ The Prime MinisterI have in the last few days received advice from ACOST on the subject of space research and development. That advice was given in confidence. My hon. Friend should not assume that the advice coincides with his description of it. I shall be responding to ACOST in due course.
