§ Mr. LilleyThe latest available data for the United Kingdom, the United States and Japan are for the second quarter of 1987. Over the year to that quarter, GDP grew by 3.8 per cent. in the United Kingdom, 2.7 per cent. in Japan and 2.4 per cent. in the United States. The latest complete data for the EC are for the first quarter of 1987. Over the year to that quarter, GDP in the EC grew by 2.6 per cent.
