Government expenditure covered from Northern Ireland sources amounted to £2,655 million in 1986–87 and the forecast for 1987–88 is £2,789 million.
The figure for subvention expressed on a per capita basis for the population of the United Kingdom as a whole (not Great Britain) is £28 for both 1986–87 and 1987–88, based on United Kingdom resident population at 30 June 1986.
