§ Mr. CabornTo ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will implement the main recommendation of the British Refugee Council's policy document "Settling for a Future", a copy of which has been sent to him, by taking the lead in bringing together the relevant Government departments, local authorities and voluntary agencies to develop a co-ordinated plan for the resettlement of refugees in the United Kingdom.
§ Mr. RentonConsideration of the Government's response is well advanced under the co-ordination of the272W voluntary services unit at the Home Office. The response will shortly be conveyed to Lord Chitnis, chairman of the British Refugee Council.
