§ Mr. NewtonThe Nursing and Midwifery Staff Negotiating Council, the body responsible for negotiating nurses' terms and conditions of service, is carrying out a review of allowances for patterns of working, including special duty payments. As part of this review, data have been collected for the council on hours worked and special duty payments received by nurses, midwives and health visitors.
