To ask the Secretary of State for Social Services what representations have been received regarding recent cuts in hospital services in the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly health authority area; and if he will make a statement.

We have received a number of representations from hon. Members about the measures recently announced by the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly health authority to enable it to keep within its budget. I refer the hon. Member to my reply to him on 26 October at column179.
