§ Mrs. CurrieUnder the Medicines Act the Medicines Commission has a statutory duty to make recommendations to Ministers regarding the number and functions of section 4 committees. The existing structure of statutory committees has been established following its advice and I understand that the commission has no plans at present to recommend the appointment of any additional committee.
