§ Mr. Alan ClarkFrom the information provided to the Invest in Britain Bureau by the companies themselves, it is estimated that more than 23,000 jobs will have been created as a result of inward investment decisions taken in the last year (the year to the third quarter of 1987). Many more jobs will have been safeguarded. Figures relating jobs to foreign direct investment flows are not available.
