The only available information is that collected annually by the Department of Trade and Industry from hospitals in Great Britain on all injuries caused by fireworks during a four-week period in October and November. Eight hundred and forty-six such injuries were reported in the relevant period in 1986. Corresponding information for 1987 is not yet available.
