§ Mr. GummerWe received many responses to the consultation document "Farm Woodland Scheme" issued earlier this year. The Farm Land and Rural Development Bill, which would provide enabling powers to introduce the scheme, received its Second Reading in another place on 5 November and the Government announced details of their revised proposals for the scheme during the debate. These have been generally welcomed.
