Members and members of the public supporting the inclusion of the British independent deterrent in arms control negotiations. The conditions which must be met before we could consider associating our deterrent with the arms control process were re-affirmed in the reply by my right hon. Friend the Prime Minister on 3 November 1987, at column 625.
