§ Mr. IngramTo ask the Secretary of State for Energy (1) if he will list the projects supported since 1985 by the Offshore Supplies Office which are North sea oil-related and with no impact on the other non-North sea oil-related industries.
(2) if he will list the projects supported since 1985 by the Offshore Supplies Office which are not mainly North sea oil-related.
§ Mr. Peter MorrisonAll research and development projects funded by the Offshore Supplies Office are 383W principally aimed at the offshore oil and gas markets either on the UKCS or elsewhere. Provided this criterion is met, the subsequent exploitation of the developed product is a matter for the companies concerned.
