§ Mr. Norman LamontA table of the estimated cost of tax allowances and reliefs for 1986–87 is given in table 2.29 "The Government's Expenditure Plans 1987–88 to 1989–90" (Cm. 56). Corresponding figures for earlier years were published in previous public expenditure White Papers. Information to provide the detailed breakdown requested is not available centrally and it would not be possible to collect it without disproportionate cost.
